FUNDRAISER WORKSHOP
Summarize what you did in this activity/project:
In this project, I attended a fundraiser workshop helping stray dogs get access to proper healthcare such as vaccines. The purpose of the workshop was to gain funds to support this very cause. In the workshop, we did many activities such as bracelet-making, cake decorating, painting, etc.
Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this activity/project?
Through this project, I hoped to support the community and the cause through what I could do and to help fund healthcare for stray dogs to assure their wellbeing and guarantee safe lives for those dogs by supplying vaccines, and other necessary care.
How successful were you in achieving your goals? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?
I believe I was successful as I managed to help them raise a part of the finances. Although there is still a long way to go, working with them and supporting them by engaging in the workshop was a big step toward creating a change as well as spreading awareness among the city and beyond about the conditions of stray dogs and the dire need to get the people to help.
