Summarize what you did in this activity/project:
I was appointed as the director of research for this organization. Here we work towards spreading awareness and integrating neuroscience with sustainability and sustainable development. The work of the director of research is to create blog posts and brainstorm ideas for the EdX-accredited courses.
Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this activity/project?
Through this project, I hope to work on my researching and writing skills and hopefully expand my knowledge on neuroscience and how It can be integrated into sustainable development.
How successful were you in achieving your goals? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?
I believe I was successful as I have managed to research and formulate blog posts that spread awareness about these topics to the community. I also believe I was successful in researching for the accredited courses as well as per the positive feedback received. However, it was initially difficult to grasp the knowledge and the connection between sustainability and neuroscience at first, but I overcame this by taking time and reading each word carefully to grasp the concepts.
How can you apply what you have learned in other life
situations?
I believe I can use the research and collaboration skills I have attained through this project in a multitude of ways, such as using them to write thesis/ research papers, and I can use collaboration skills to effectively work in a team wherever I choose to work.
